ISPS , nova ovla??tenja prema STCW

Ovo va?ži za pomorce koji su licencu SSO dobili putem internih tečajeva do 2006-7, trebalo bi dobiti licencu koja u sebi sadr?ži i oznaku STCW-a, u prilogu je obja??njenje jednog slučaja:

Dear All,
On 09 Oct 2008, one of our vessels had undergone a PSC inspection at Brindisi, Italy where following deficiency was raised under Action Code 17, i.e., rectifiable before departure.

â??Ship security officer certificate not according STCW Section A-VI/5â?

Amendments to STCW as adopted on 18 May 2006, with respect to SSO certificates which entered in to force on 01 Jan 2008, provides a transitional grace period until 01 Jul 2009 for existing SSO certificates issued prior to 01 Jan 2008. The SSO certificate in question, issued on 27 Jul 2004, is therefore still valid and the deficiency was unwarranted.
However, the PSC authority remained firm in their unreasonable stance. And port clearance was not issued to the vessel until a letter of authorization from Panama Administration was obtained certifying that the SSO certificate in question was indeed valid.
In order to avoid such ordeal and delay to vessels, SSO certificates (at least for the Masters) should be converted/upgraded/endorsed, as applicable as per STCW without any further delay.

najprije pozdrav ekipi iz constante, rijetko dodjem do neta pa svaku priliku iskoristim da vidim ima li ista novoga

uglavnom sto se ovoga tice mislim da je to vec oko pola godine moguce napraviti, tj. sso brevet sa stcw oznakom, dapace mislim da sam ga i napravio prije ovog ukrcaja u kapetaniji u splitu, a ne znam koliko ste upoznati da triba minjat i brevet medical care jer sad vise nije unlimited nego mislim da je na 5 godina (naravno papilova ka i sve u nas)
